Three Ways To Heal Your Body

We have choices every day and the health of our body is directly related to the choices we make.  Those choices (behaviors) make up about 40% of your health outcomes. The rest comes from medical care (10%), Social and Environmental Factors (20%) and Genetics (30%).  There are a few things that have a very BIG impact on your health that are free, accessible to anyone and very simple to do.

When the body is in a chronic state of stress it damages the HPA-Axis

My first choice for healing illness (especially autoimmune or chronic diseases) is to follow the carnivore diet. Why? Because it gives us the most nutrients possible, has the least amount of toxins and helps to heal the gut where many diseases begin.  Plant foods have toxins but naturally occurring and man-made that are very damaging to the body and specifically the gut. You can do a lot to improve your health just by eliminating these foods. It is very easy (and delicious) to follow the carnivore diet and most people that I have seen try it do very well with it. Next is to reduce and manage stress. About 90% of diseases are stress-related. When the body is constantly under stress, more stress hormones are produced which cause inflammation in the body (the root cause of disease). Inflammation can cause injury to all parts of the body but most specifically the gut as mentioned above. When the body is in a chronic state of stress it damages the HPA-Axis (hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal) which results in hormone disruption, thyroid dysfunction, chronic fatigue and other health problems including the speeding of aging. Fasting is also excellent for generating new stem cells, which can be used to heal any part of the body

Lastly, my 3rd choice for preventing illness is to have a fasting regimen. This could be a form of intermittent fasting or longer but less frequent fasts. All fasts help support autophagy or the cleaning out of dead cells that the body can recycle for energy and prevent them from causing disease in the body. Fasting also supports gut health by reducing the digestive functions so that healing on all levels can be done. Fasting is also excellent for generating new stem cells, which can be used to heal any part of the body that needs regeneration (organs and joints!). There is a reason fasting has been practiced since the beginning of time and continues today. Click here to take my Fast Path to Health fasting training!
